But did you know... Lloyd's Insurance was - launched to provide marine insurance to ship captains and merchants.

It's first motor policy was issued in 1909.

Lloyd's has underwritten policies insuring:

The nose of a Whisky Distiller.
Against Crocodile attack in Australia.
Food critic Egon Ronay's taste buds.

And finally... against the possibility of Kerry Wallace's hair failing to grow back after being shaved off for a 'Startrek' film.
