Brit Art and a Pint please
Home to a great atmosphere and budding British Artists of course
Location: 110 Commercial Street, E1 6LZ
Description: It's funny how life works out...
One minute your a committed landlady looking after a great pub, just like Sandra Esquilant, and the next minute your pub days are taken to the next level.
Well that's what has happened to The Golden Heart in East London. It was around the early 1990s that British artists decided to start hanging out here... Tracy Emin, Gilbert & George... and still it continues.
You can still expect a rising art youngster to appear and get a bevvy down them, in of course, another great London boozer.
