Just a Stones throw away

Since 1979, animals, fun and manure can be found here

Location: Stepney Way, E1 3DG

Description: Stepping Stones Farm was set up in 1979 as a result of a community consultation. Local residents, schools, churches & community groups were consulted and a small patch of land was secured for the farms use.

Since then the farm has doubled in size and forms a square of 4.2 acres. The site that the farm currently occupies has a long and varied history dating back to the 17th century. Indeed The site of Worcester house (locally known as King Johns Palace) is buried under a cow field on the farm and is awaiting an excavation.

With a huge array of animals, a shop, cafe and garden centre, and even manure and compost for sale... check the website for opening times - but get on down to the farm for some rural life.
