Description: This classicly quirky Victorian pub has changed little from when it opened in 1863 including it's 5 segregated bars where the rabble were kept away from the ladies and the gents of Victorian Britain's society.
Each bar is own street entrance and to move between them inside a waist high hatch or door is available, originally meant for the cleaners and staff.
The ladies bar still features the original snob screens!
The pub is exquisitely decorated with Victorian features - a real treet for boozers!
It was originally named after Queen Victoria's 2nd son who became the Duke of Edinburgh in 1862 at the age of 18.
