Description: This is the college that comedian Dudley Moore learned his love for music and piano.
The Guildhall School of Music & Drama first opened its doors on 27 September 1880 to 62 part-time students in a disused warehouse here.
Other notable scholars here include Orlando Bloom, Guy Chambers, Daniel Craig, Dido, Joseph Fiennes, Sir James Galway, Sarah Lancashire, Sir George Martin, Alistair McGowan, Ewan McGregor, Julia McKenzie, Omar, Clive Rowe, Simon Russell Beale, Claire Rutter, Bryn Terfel, Marcia Warren, and Janice Watson.
