The Chesham Arms: a Great Pub
The epitome of a friendly backstreet local
Location: 5 Mehetabel Road, E9 6DU
Description: 'The Chesham Arms' is the epitome of a friendly backstreet local. Although it's recently changed ownership (May 08), the fundamentals which make this a great pub still remain.
Despite being overshadowed by a 1960s council estate, it's actually hidden away on a pretty little Victorian terrace off Homerton High Street. Pay a visit and find a clean, warm and inviting pub - a good mix of regulars of all ages and backgrounds call this their local and service is cheery and welcoming.
There's also an excellent choice of ale - around three or four at any one point, including a choice from smaller breweries. With places like this becoming increasingly rare in London, it's therefore all the more deserving of your custom.
