A Right Royal Bird
A Pubs been here for as long as records began.
Location: 206 Kensington Church Street, W8 4DP
Description: And why not...this boozer was named in honour of the 'Royal Bird'... the 'Old Swan'. Not only that but it's situated on the original Roman road leading from London to the West Country.
Indeed, this has been a site of public house for as long as records began...which is pretty impressive.
During the middle ages, this spot would have been a very important 'watering hole' (not only for the horses) for men journeying from Tyburn to Uxbridge.
So then...come on down, tie up your donkey, and get a glass of ale.
