Description: Rolling Stone guitarist Keith Richards bought this house for 55,000 back in May 1968. He lived here with his girlfriend and gothic occultist Anita Pallenberg. Richards sold it in 1978.
The house dates back to 1717, and has a previous owner with musical pedigree - Sir John Goss (18001880) resided here at two separate periods, once when organist of Chelsea New Church, and again after he had been appointed organist of St. Paul's Cathedral.
Admiral William Henry Smith, vice president of the Royal
Society and a founding member of the Royal Geographical society, also lived here.
