Brixton Train Station Murals
Big, beautiful and a great way to cheer up a station
Location: 32 Brixton Station Road, SW9 8PE
Description: Protected from the elements, 'Brixton Train Stations' contains two fabulous murals probably created in the late 80s/ early 90s.
Painted during the time of British Rail, little information is available on exact dates, funding or artist.
Both pictures depict a bricolage of objects but I dont think anyone can be sure if they have any relevance to the area. The only thing we can say about the murals is that they are big, beautiful and cheer up what could be a very dreary station.
