Bellefield Road Mural 2
Opposite the academy, a mural with a coastal feel
Location: Bellefield Road
Description: This mural was painted in 1988 by the London Wall Mural Group who were helped by local artists Eugene Palmer and John Saward.
It features an abstracted scene of a seaside - a million miles away from life in Brixton.
Recently vandalized (Nov 2009), the bottom two foot of the mural has been painted over. However the rest of it is fairing well and can be spotted by anyone popping to the Brixton Academy as it is across the road from the music venue!
