Home to Michael Caine and Terrence Stamp in 1960
Location: 12 Ennismore Gardens, Knightsbridge, SW7
Description: The year was 1960 and Michael Caine and Terrance Stamp were good friends and trying to make a name as actors.
Money was tight and both men were struggling - and so to this 'one' bedroom flat just south of Hyde Park.
Yes you have guessed it - to acting legends that would go onto be 'bigger' than Jupitor once downsized from Harley Street to live at this very small address.
The cost of renting in London then was a lot cheaper than today, that said, they agreed that whichever was earning would pay the rent.
And as luck would have it, or not in the career sense, Michael lived rent free at the beginning!
