Description: Former prime minister Clement Richard Attlee (1883-1967) lived here in this classic semi-detached suburban home in the years before becoming Prime Minister from 1945 to 1951. While living here his great rival and local MP was Winston Churchill.
Attlee entered Parliament in 1922 when he was elected in Limehouse and later Walthamstow West.
