Author of 101 Dalmations and I Capture the Castle lived here.

Location: 19 Dorset Square, Marylebone

Description: Author Dodie Smith (3 May 189624 November 1990) lived here, but it wasn't her first choice. She always wanted to live right next to Regent's Park in the lovely house at 1 St Andrews Place, on the splendid corner of the Outer Circle.

She never did occupy the house in real life, but she did feature it as the Dearlys 'smart little house' in her famous novel 101 Dalmations. She also wrote I Capture the Castle.
