Home to a Mozzer
Mozzer lived on this street in the 90s... but which number?
Location: Regent's Park Terrace, Camden
Description: Back in the 1990s, this very street was once home to the 'Mozfather' - yes indeed, Morrissey himself.
The house was designed by William Haines, for the American actress and flamboyantly bisexual socialite Tallulah Bankhead. Interestingly, Morrissey's L.A. home was designed by the same man.
As we all know, Morrissey formed The Smiths with the wonderful Johnny Marr and has since had a jolly successful solo career, and rightly so.
And what better way to end than a quote...
'I think I'm a realist. Which people who don't like me consider to be pessimism. It isn't pessimism at all. If I was a pessimist I wouldn't get up, I wouldn't shave, I wouldn't watch Batman at 7:30 a.m. Pessimists just don't do that sort of thing'.
