Morrissey Lived Here...

Morrissey Lived Here...

He did indeed, on this road, but can you tell us the number?

Location: Campden Hill Road, Kensington, W8

Description: During the reign of the legendary 'Smiths' in the early 1980s, Morrissey and the rest of the band decamped from Manchester to London.

Moz left his 384 Kings Road home in Stretford Manchester to take up residence in a rented flat on 'Campden Hill Road' in Kensington.

This allowed him, Johnny and the rest of the band to be closer to the 'Rough Trade' offices and manage their assault on the music industry and of course world domination.

But can you tell us which number flat Moz lived at?

The Smiths were an English alternative rock band, formed in Manchester in 1982. Based on the songwriting partnership of Morrissey (vocals) and Johnny Marr (guitar), the band also included Andy Rourke (bass) and Mike Joyce (drums).

Critics have called them the most important alternative rock band to emerge from the British independent music scene of the 1980s.
