Description: London Weekend Television (that now stretches through the week) has been broadcasting from the South Bank TV Centre since 1968. Why not take a wander past and see which stars you bump into...I saw George Hamilton once, he was a very strange colour, almost orange!

1» Kent House, the name of the building for the London Studios (it was only briefly called The London Television Centre, until it was pointed out that there was confusion between that and the BBCs Television Centre in Shephards Bush), wasnt built until 1972! London Weekend used the old Rediffusion studios in Wembley between 1968-72. Stands on the site of what used to be a warehouse, ironically where the photos were taken to make up the original London skyline montage for the Thames Television ident! (Photoman)
