The Coronet...

What was The Holloway Coronet cinema - now a super pub..in size!

Location: 338 Holloway Road, N7 6PA

Description: As a J D Whetherspoons pub, you sort of know what you are going to get... Lots of older me, drinking lots of warm ale, usually very early in the morning and then all through the day and evening. But...

This pub has an added bonus - this pub was originally a cinema, The Holloway Coronet, and it's like stepping back in time once inside.

Aside from the men supping their pints, the far end where the screen would have been in days gone by is massive - a huge amount of vertical space, a big black and white movie photo on the far wall, and of course rather quirky decorations. Really quite impressive.

But here's the thing, as it's a J D Whetherspoons pub, I advise saftety in numbers...so go with a big group of mates, drink cheap quaff... and have a 'coronet' of a time.
