McLaren and Westwood's SEX

This is where Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood had SEX.

Location: 430 Kings Road, London, SW10 0LJ

Description: This indian used to be McLaren's infamous shop SEX - a rubber and leather fetish boutique run by Malcolm McLaren & Vivienne Westwood.

This store became very famous in the punk scene and produced such famous clothes as the Cambridge Rapist T-shirts, the shirt featuring cowboys drawn by Tom of Finland, Destroy shirts, venus shirts, tits shirts, fetish wear and others.

Famously, it was also here that the Sex Pistols auditioned Johnny Rotten.

At various times it was known as Too Fast to Live, Too Young to Die (1973); Sex (1974); Seditionaries (1977); and Worlds End (1980), which remains its name today.

The first bass player of the band (Glen Matlock) worked here and guitar player Steve Jones and drummer Paul Cook were regular customers.
