Carry On star Sid James lived in this house.

Location: 35 Gunnersbury Avenue, Ealing

Description: Bless This House!

British comedy legend Sid James (1913-1976), star of Carry On films, Bless This House, Hancock's Half Hour and more, lived here.

In 1993, the Dead Comics Society erected a commemorative plaque outside Sid's former home here in Gunnersbury Avenue in London.

Alas - as of March 2010 - the house is being demolished for the new Bridge to Hangar Lane. The Plate has gone and place is derelict... very sad!
