One of the few original London Skittles alleys still in use.

Location: 32 Downshire Hill, Hampstead, London, NW3 1NT

Description: This gastro pub has a surviving London Skittles pell mell court from the original (long demolished) pub. The game involves rolling a big wooden ball through iron hoops and was a worm of croquet without the mallet.

There's also a skittle alley in the cellar, basically nine pin bowling with a large cheese! Quite rare to see nowadays!
