Pulp's special Nightclub

'Stepney Nightclub' - home to Pulp's 'Common People' - 70s style
Location: Commercial Road, Stepney, E1 0LA
Description: If you want to find a genuine piece of Britpop history and nostalgia...then look no further than 'Stepney Nightclub', why?
Well it was here that Jarvis Cocker and the excellent Pulp filmed, performed and inspired us all with the classic tune 'Common People'.
This East London club features an original 70s illuminated dancefloor and sits next to a 350-year-old pub, The George Tavern - so a double whammy visit!
Best get cracking though, this club that epitomises 70s glamour with leather, mirror, lights, is in the hands of developers...when will they ever learn!
