The Old Bell Tavern

The Old Bell Tavern

A 330 year old pub on Fleet Street.

Location: 95 Fleet Street, City of London, EC4Y 1DH

Description: A 330-year-old pub on Fleet Street built by Sir Christopher Wren for his stonemasons in the 1670's working on St Brides Wedding Cake church.

It's a beautiful old pub with lovely stained-glass windows and historic-feeling stone floor.

The Almanack in 1815 reviewed it saying the beverages are good, and the [dinner] charges moderate. And today it's not far off that.
