Description: Who'd have thought... the hustle and bustle and exhilarating vibe that is London's 'Soho' took it's name from an ancient hunting cry.
Soho from 'So-ho!', became a royal park during the reign of Henry VIII - a royal resident was Charles II's illegitimate son the Duke of Monmouth, who is said to have used the cry to rally his troops at the battle of Sedgemoor.
So when your out and about in Soho next, go on... give it a bit of 'So-ho!'.
