Description: London and Royalty go hand in hand - there are many buildings, places, occasions associated with the monarchy and of course none more so than Buckingham Palace.

And it was here that actress Beatrice Lillie - noted for her stage work in revues and light comedies - found herself enjoying a splendid meal. However, her luck was to change when a hapless waiter spilt soup on here model gown and then attempted to mop it up...

To which Beatrice muttered the legendary words...'Never Darken My Dior Again'!
