Baker Street & Gerry Rafferty
Baker Street, inspiration for Gerry Rafferty's biggest hit.
Location: Baker Street Station, London
Description: Up and coming Scottish singer songwriter Gerry Rafferty used to busk illegally on the underground in the 1970's. One classic old station on the bakerloo line inspired his greatest hit Baker Street, although he wrote Stuck Here in the Middle for Stealers Wheeel too. Had a classic buskers beard as well, nice.

1» Not quite right, according to Wikipedia entry. It was because Rafferty regularly stayed in flat close to Baker St in London while resolving contract issues over material. (Trevor Bounford)
