A Pub in a Hole
A 'Tardisss' pub that comes with a rattle
Location: 5 Mepham Street, SE1 8SQ
Description: Now I like this pub...why...well because it's just a proper boozer with 'what you see is what you get' - there's no pretense here. But there's a bit more...
From the roadside it looks like a small pub under the railway, but on further investigation, it becomes a much bigger pub with a larger bar behind the front bar.
With the added surpise of Waterloo Station trains rattling overhead, which actually causes the place to vibrate, there are good beers, fines wines, essetial nibbles, and attentive bar staff.
So when you are next at Waterloo, don't go to the pub in the station, walk the short distance and go here!
