Description: De Lane Lea are famous Soho-based recording studios - many music legends have recorded here including The Beatles, The Who, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, ELO, Deep Purple and Queen. Jimi Hendrix recorded Purple Haze here.
Originally, they were founded in 1947 by Major De Lane Lea - a French intelligence attach for the British Government. They dubbed English films into French, later they were expanded significantly and today there are state of the art facilities.
