Pink Floyd's Drum Shop

Pink Floyd's Drum Shop

The drum shop where Pink Floyd's Nick Mason got his 1st set.

Location: 41 Store Street, Bloomsbury

Description: The new Foote's opened here in late 2011 after Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason invested in it. It's the shop where he bought his first drum kit for 7.50, and it would have likely closed if he hadn't.

Foote's was founded in Denman Street, Soho in 1920 by Charles Ernest Foote and has been run ever since as 'for musicians, by musicians'. They have the largest selection of Drums, Percussion, Woodwind Brass and String Instruments in Central London.

In the 1930's they moved to 10 Golden Square where they took over Premier Drum Company's premises.
