Description: Linley Sambourne House is a unique example of a late Victorian townhouse. It was also home to the cartoonist Edward Linley Sambourne and his family from 1874, surviving with almost all of its furniture and fittings intact.
This site provides an introduction to the House and its collections and to the Sambourne family. You can take a room by room tour of the house and study in detail examples of the decoration and furnishings selected by the family.
This is one for all those historians out there - the House is open to visit from March to December.
