Dirty House

Dirty House

Disconcerting modernist building by architect David Adjaye.

Location: Whitby Street, Shoreditch, London

Description: This distinctive building is a residential house for artists Sue Webster and Tim Noble designed by renowned architect David Adjaye in 2001.

It's an old building underneath, made of painted black brick and looks tough and urban. However, on the very top of the building, there sits a very elegant rooftop gallery made of glass.
