Going Green on the South Bank

Going Green on the South Bank

Combined heat and power systems to create a better South Bank

Location: South Bank, SE1 9PX

Description: London's wonderful South Bank will become a focus of the Green Revolution in a scheme that aims to reduce the area's carbon footprint.

Whilst focussing on the cultural zone and businesses such as the National Theatre, throughout it will encourage a reduction in energy consumption through partnerships - such as the 'combined heat and power (CHP) systems'.

The system will allow for heating, cooling and electricity supplied by CHP and should save in running costs while reducing CO2 emissions. Outstanding!
