Largest green space in the borough and just gorgeous

Location: 182 Beckenham Hill Road, BR3 1SZ

Description: 'Beckenham Place Park'...is the largest green space in the borough covering 96 hectares, with large areas of ancient woodland ideal for informal woodland walks.

The park is an important wildlife site and it also makes up part of the South East London Green Chain Walk and the regional Capital Ring.

Tennis, golf and football are all played here and the Mansion House, a Grade II listed building, houses the golf clubhouse.

The 'Friends of Beckenham Place Park' also arrange a number of events in the park, including walks and talks.

For more information visit the Friends Visitors Centre inside the Mansion on Sundays from 2pm to 4pm or call 020 8325 8781.
