Jimi Hendrix's Flat
This was Jimi Hendrix's bohemian London flat and love pad.
Location: 23 Brook Street, London
Description: Legendary Guitar legend Jimi Hendrix lived here in 1968-70 with his girlfriend Kathy Etchingham at the peak of his short-lived fame.
Upon learning that classical composer Handel had lived at number 25 250 years beforehand, he went to a local record shop and bought some of his works including Messiah and the Water Music.
Since November 2001, the upper floors of 23 Brook Street including Hendrix's flat, have been part of the Handel House Museum.
