Mysterious goose gobbler spotted here, keep your kids close!

Location: River Lea, Hackney

Description: Boat trippers on the River Lea spotted a goose suddenly dragged under the water instantaneously here. Other fowl have gone missing from this area in late 2005 too.

Mr Gallant, of the Lea Rivers Trust, took five people from the Inland Waterways Association up the Lea on 10 July to see how it looks before development starts on the Olympic Village for the 2012 Games. He said:

Whatever that thing was, it had to be big.
