Classic Victorian pub with beautiful period toilets!

Location: 208-209 High Holborn, London

Description: This historic (refurbished in late 2007) Victorian pub is famous for its remarkable 19th century interior by WB Simpson. It is owned by the Samuel Smith Brewery of Tadcaster in Yorkshire, and as such has a good variety of ales on offer.

The building was erected in 1872 and is Grade II listed. Its whole interior including the ornate gentleman's toilets are well worth a visit!
