Hardman Dave Mackay lived here

This is the house Spurs legend Dave Mackay lived in.

Location: 26 Whitehouse Way, Southgate

Description: This is the house where 1970's football hard man Dave Mackay, who played for Spurs and Scotland, lived.

After the midfielder, famous for his bust up photo with Leeds Utd's Billy Bremner, moved south from Hearts to join Spurs he lived in a hotel and then with Tommy Docherty and his wife in Cockfosters.

Then he moved here into this house which used to belong to a well known ventriloquist called Terry Hall (1926-2007).

When Mackay moved in he found some tatty old puppets and one was the real Lenny The Lion and Terry Hall came to collect shortly after!
