Wimbledon Turnstile
A quaint piece of history still standing today
Location: Church Road, Wimbledon
Description: If you travel right out of Wimbledon station along Church Road about a quarter of a mile before you reach Wimbledon Tennis Club you will see a small country lane on the left hand side called Dairy Walk.
At the start of this lane is a white cross of wood mounted on a white pole.
This is a very basic turnstile which turns as you make your way through it into Dairy Walk.
