Description: The Rock Garden club was situated below the restaurant. Over 30,000 bands have performed live on stage since it opened in 1978. U2 played their first London gig here. Dire Straits had a weekly residency here for a few months and bands such as Iron Maiden, The Police and The Smiths have all played here. The Rock Garden closed its doors for the last time on 31/12/2008.
