Description: The actress Margaret Lockwood, star of films including The Lady Vanishes and The Wicked Lady, lived here with her mother Margaret Evelyn and brother Lyn.

When she was 3 they had travelled from India to settle in London, going to local Sunday school at Christ Church, and going to watch films in the Crystal Palace.

Margaret attended Belvedere College and Sydenham High School for Girls and in 1929 they moved here.

A blue plaque was unveiled here on Wednesday 21st November 2018.
