Location: 72-76 Western Road, Southall

Description: This is Southall's award-winning North Indian Punjabi family-run restaurant. It was voted chef Gordon Ramsay's Best for his Channel 4 series Cookalong Live and also named as King Charles' favourite London restaurant (he has been twice).

It started life in a hotel in Kenya, and opened here in 1975 featuring some Kenyan influenced dishes. Today its reputation precedes it and, after expanding 7 times, seats more than 100 customers, banqueting suite and cookery school.
