Good pub, on the river with the sweet sound of Jazz

Location: 42 St Pancras Way, NW1 0QT

Description: The Constitution is well worth a visit if you fancy a change from the hustle and bustle of the Camden scene - a pleasant local pub just east of Camden Town Station, alongside the Regent's Canal.

This pub, founded in 1858, is the last remaining building from the old Agar Town, a short-lived working-class community of the mid-19th century which was swept away around 1866 by the development of St Pancras Station and the train lines leading into it.

With a good size beer-garden that overlooks the canal, the pub also offers a basement type area at the same level as the canal that offers an array of live music nights, and yes you've guessed it, this includes 'Jazz'!

So with good beer, a cool location and Jazz nights part of the cause, it's time to take it real easy!
