The Lion Public House

The Lion Public House

A pub, a gang lord, and gangster history made

Location: Tapp Street

Description: On April 9th 1966 at this typical East-End back street pub in Tapp Street, 'Ronnie Kray' was drinking here when some of his spies brought him word that 'George Cornell' was in the nearby Blind Beggar.
