Location: Brompton Road, London
Description: Opposite the Oratory on Brompton Road was the location for one of the early grand Chinese restaurants in England, the Shangri-la. Established sometime in the late 1950's.
On one occasion the Queen ordered a take-away from this establishment, what was ordered is not recorded to our knowledge.
