Location: 234 Royal College Street, Camden, NW1 9NJ

Description: This famous live band venue was finally closed in 2002, relocated to Chalk Farm Road, and the old building was unsympathetically converted to residential use in 2010.

When it was the Barfly it helped launch the careers of Coldplay, The Darkness, Franz Ferdinand and of course Blur and Oasis.

Blur were signed up to a record label after their gig here in 1990.
