Description: Tower Bridge (completed in 1894) is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London, over the River Thames, next to the Tower of London. It remains one of the most distinctive and iconic locations in London, spectacularly opening up for the tall ships to pass through.
The grade I listed bridge is painted red, white and blue for the Queen Elizabeth II's silver jubilee in 1979.
The bridge features in many a blockbuster such as Brannigan (1975), Biggles Adventures in Time (1986), Spiceworld (1997), Mummy Returns (2001), Thunderbirds (2004), The Wolfman (2010), and Sherlock Holmes (2009).
