Description: This venue used to the The Pegasus, a music pub, which closed in 2004.
On the 18th June 1977, the Sex Pistols God Save The Queen reached number one (without any radio airplay) in the UK charts.
During a break from their recording sessions: Johnny Rotten, Chris Thomas (producer) and Bill Price (studio boss) are attacked here outside the Pegasus pub.
Johnny has his arm slashed open and suffers tendon damage. Due to the attacks, a tour of Scandinavia, which would have started at the end of June, was delayed until mid-July.
