A Colosseum in Watford

Responsible for the 'Lord of the Rings' soundtracks

Description: Since opening in 1994, Watford Colosseum has become the premier multi-purpose venue in Hertfordshire.
The venue has a renowned international reputation due to the fine acoustics within the main auditorium. There are ongoing bookings for classical recordings from companies such as the BBC Concert Orchestra, EMI, Deutsche Grammophon, Decca, BMG, Sony and Philips.
And here's the 'middle earth' thing...The Watford Colosseum was actually used to record the Lord of the Rings soundtracks!
So now you know - there is a 'Tolkien' Colosseum in Watford.
