Paul and Linda McCartney's marriage was blessed here.
Location: Lord's Roundabout, St John's Wood, NW8 7NE
Description: Built in 1814, St John's Wood Church is right next to Lord's Cricket Ground, and just to the north of Regent's Park.
The architect was Thomas Hardwick who also built the new church at St Marylebone shortly afterwards.
Thomas Lord moved his cricket ground to St John's Wood at the same time, and offered their newly erected pavilion for the consecration celebrations on Tuesday 24th May 1814.
The marriage of Paul and Linda McCartney was blessed here in 1969.
