Description: This classic Victorian pub dates back to at least 1792 and is situated about halfway along Great Portland Street, not far from Oxford Street. It features original tiling and woodwork

This is also where Newcastle United and Sports Direct owner Mike Ashley reportedly held boozy all-night board meetings in 2013 continuing well beyond closing time. Drinking games and Ashley vomiting into the fire being celebrated by the senior management team.

It was originally, before renumbering, at 50 Great Portland Street until around 1856/7.
