Celebrity passion for cheese?
Neal's Yard Dairy, famous clients and Monty Python connections
Location: Neal's Yard Dairy, 17 Shorts Gardens, WC2H 9UP
Description: Just off the main drag of Covent Garden and at the corner of the quaint alleyway know as Neal's Yard, Neal's Yard Dairy is a store for anyone with a passion for cheese (and who doesn't love cheese?) should not miss out on.
On the first visit, the smell of quietly aging cheeses might turn you off a bit. But within 30 seconds, and after your first sample of their cheese, you will come to embrace the smell that had previously reminded you of the smell of some very nasty feet.
And if this is not enough to convince you to go...you might trust some celebrities' cheese opinions. Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters and Harvey Keitel have both been spotted at a Neal's Yard Dairy. And there's a rumour that Monty Python based their famous cheese skit on the shop.
